FC Background exists solely to assist the construction community in insuring that unqualified workers do not gain access to the jobsite.  Through this commitment, FCB assists the construction community in answering the following question – “Is the person I’m about to allow access to my jobsite who and what he represent himself to be and is he authorized to access the jobsite?” Since inception FCB has answered that question over 7 million times. During that time FCB has developed, refined, and deployed:

Beginning in 2002 FCB’s focus shifted from pre-employment screening to post-employment verification that workers possess the necessary credentials for access to security sensitive worksites. This need most commonly manifests when a workforce must closely interface with a vulnerable population such as construction workers and school children. Today over 75 percent of FCB’s business involves the delivery of commercial construction jobsite access control systems.  Current operations include construction projects from coast-to-coast and boarder-to-boarder.

FCB stands alone in applying RFID technology to enable construction management personnel (owners, contractors and insurers) to track worker whereabouts while on the jobsite or when entering or leaving.  Our systems include the delivery of pedestrian access portals, vehicle access portals and mobile access portals.
