Job Site Access Control
RFID Enabled Worker Tracking
Know in real-time the answers to these critical workforce management questions:
- Who is on the jobsite?
- When did they enter?
- When did they leave?
- Total labor hours committed to the job?
FCB has become the premier provider of construction jobsite access control systems and the only provider that that links jobsite access control to the worker screening process required on most projects today.
Unlike normal site access control environments, where individuals can present an access control card to a close proximity reader, the construction workforce normally is entering the jobsite with tools, equipment and materials in hand. In the construction environment, access control must employ a passive technology that does not require a card to be physically presented to the reader without hindering the effectiveness of the access control process.
FCB’s Jobsite Access Control solution utilizes both active and passive RFID technology. The technology deployed is fully dependent upon the unique requirements of the jobsite. The access control system provides options as to types of portals used and includes:
- Pedestrian portals
- Vehicle portals
- Mobile handheld portals
Each access control system delivered by FCB is customized to allow attendees to enter and exit in a timely and controlled fashion. Effective site access control must also incorporate a form of validation to ensure that authorized individuals are allowed access to facilities and specific work areas. FCB has the ability to expand or contract the level at which access is controlled with customization using the following techniques and technologies:
- Radio frequency identification
- Facial recognition
- Finger print recognition
- 2D matrix coding
- QR encoding
- Traditional bar coding.
FCB combines these technologies with the necessary hardware, software and services to provide a complete solution for your jobsite’s unique tracking, reporting and control challenges
